Rare 1895 Regina Sublima Tall Oak Case Music Box.
We were told only 10 were made. It wasn't working. We repaired, mended and restored the beauty and the function. It plays a 21" pierced metal plate with a double comb. You can hear this hundred-year-old sound today -- for a penny a play.
The company was started in the 1880s by a German who hired Swiss watchmakers to make the movements for the music boxes, floor and table models. They went out of business in 1900 thanks to Edison's new invention: the phonograph. But you might recognize the name, because they started a new game: producing the Regina Vacuum Cleaner. How's that for a major suck-up?

Oak Door

Before and After. We stripped seven coats of paint and fumed the antique oak wood to look like English brown oak, for a natural wood finish. We closed the door on this job.
