| 52. First Place Cup for a Baby Beauty Contest 1921 In 1921, when Mom was two years old, she won this first place silver-plated cup in a beauty contest at Coney Island. | 53. 1920s Fashion Drawing. Grandma was a fashion designer. When this lady came to us, she came barefoot -- the shoes were gone! We cut off some of the spare board, beveled it in and touched it up. We deacidified the paper, then matted it. She then had it framed for an attractive archival presentation that made our client, the granddaughter, put on her dancing shoes. | ||

| 54. 1930s Family Memorabilia Brought to us in Silence and Disrepair. a) Pathé was the French version of the Victor Victrola. This was the electrified model of the old crank version. b) Philco Radio. We restored the cases and we did the tubes and the electrical work. Now they both play, after many a long day of silence. | ![]() | |
