Poor Richard's Restorations
Montclair, NJ

Gentlemen:

It is with extreme pleasure that I am writing to you. After having
seen what passes for good work nowadays, it was indeed a pleasant
shock to see the results of the refinishing job that you did on our
antique wall clock. Your work was not good, rather it was great.

As you know, we here at Tiffany & Co. take great pride in the quality
and craftsmanship of the work we produce. This same quality and
crafsmanship is self evident after gazing upon your work. You may
be assured that a gift such as you have shown in your work is deeply
appreciated by all of us here at Tiffany & Co.

In the future all work of this sort that we have will be sent to you
and I would not hesitate to recommend you to anyone who is looking
for the best craftsmen in the art of restoration of fine antiques and
collectibles.

Once again, thank you very much for a job well done.

Yours Appreciatively,

Paul J. Orson

Dear Rick,

My husband and I appreciated our visit to your workshop
recently, and seeing the lovely restorations you are doing was a
pleasure.

Thank you for the excellent work of your men in refinishing
our furniture. We had thought the coffee table was a total loss,
but now it's a thing of beauty.

We are also grateful to you for restoring the narcissus print,
which we do treasure. Thank you, too, for the "surprise treat" --
you are kind indeed.

It is refreshing to view quality craftsmanship such as we
saw at Poor Richards.

May God bless you and your work.

Sincerely,

Mrs. Commissioner Norman S. Marshall

Dear Rick,

Congratulations on doing such a beautiful job on our
desk. Who ever would have believed that you could have restored
it to look like new? I knew you were talented and creative, but
this time I think you broke your own record!

Dr. Henry H. Kessler, our founder, was the original
owner and, for this reason, we wanted to preserve it. We plan
to exhibit the desk at the Institute along with other memorabilia
of the late Dr. Kessler.

Thanks a million, Rick. We all love it.

Sincerely,

Anthony L. Formica
Assistant Administrator

Dear Rick,

This is just a note to thank you for the fine quality of
work that you showed in the recent restoration of a chandelier at
Lambert Castle. I am sure that you will agree that the fixture was a
wonderful piece and was a fine example of its 1920s-1930s style.
Your fine work helped to bring out its great beauty in a way that
hasn't been seen in more than twenty-five years.

Once again, thank you for your work. I hope that we will be
able to extend that sort of quality workmanship to the rest of
Lambert Castle's restoration.

Best personal regards.

Sincerely,

Norman M. Robertson

Dear Rick,

As the Diocese of Paterson celebrates its Golden
Jubilee, it is a delight for us to look up in our
renovated Cathedral and see the gleaming chandeliers
that you have refurbished. They are more beautiful than
ever. It is always a delight to take things that are
old and treasured and restore them so that they can be
enjoyed for years to come as they were for years long
past. Thank you for doing such a good job on our
Cathedral chandeliers.

With every good wish, I am

Sincerely yours,

Most Reverend Frank J. Rodimer
Bishop of Paterson
